Hiroki Sawai is the founder of RootTeam. He shipped his way from self-taught engineer to running a Vietnam offshore studio, then founded RootTeam in 2018 and built OneStream into a video SaaS used by 1,300+ organizations. In 2025 he joined JETRO J-StarX and 500 Global, moved to Palo Alto, and started building Gentity as RootTeam's first AI-native product.
