Profile of Founder and CEO Hiroki Sawakyo.
Hiroki Sawai is the founder of RootTeam. After teaching himself engineering and working in IT, he launched and exited an offshore development company in Vietnam before founding RootTeam in 2018. He later built OneStream into a video SaaS platform used by more than 1,300 organizations and has since pushed the company toward an AI-native direction spanning products, implementation, and talent development. In 2025, he was selected for JETRO J-StarX and joined the 500 Global program. He now works across Japan and the US while building AI-native businesses with his team.
